    TED USA Supports Turkish Films at Festival

    TED USA raised funds to support the 12th edition of the New York Turkish Film Festival, which took place at the School of Visual Arts in New York City in December 2010. 12 screenings and a number of side events were held as part of the event organized by Moon and Stars Project and The American Turkish Society.

    TED Alum Cagan Yuksel produced the trailers for the festival in 2009 and 2010, winning four Telly Awards for his work.

    Mimi’s Salty Shakes Design Shows

     

    A 1996 TED Alum, Munire Kirmaci made her debut at the MoMa Design Store with a "Salt and Pepper Shaker in One", currently featured at MoMa’s ongoing Destination Istanbul, which showcases products from emerging Turkish designers. Her love-inspired designs can be found here.
